Operational principles for protecting information handled by Digibenz Technologies. These website policies do not replace a client proposal or service agreement.

1. Purpose and scope

This policy covers website visitors, prospects, clients, client representatives, campaign leads, form submissions, service delivery, partners and authorized providers.

2. Information types

Personal data includes names and contact details; business data includes websites, plans and reports; campaign data includes leads and engagement metrics; technical data includes account access, website setup and logs.

3. Handling principles

We aim to limit data to its purpose, minimize collection, keep it accurate, restrict access, protect confidentiality, retain only as needed and securely dispose of it.

4. Access and client information

Access is limited to authorized people who need it. Client information is used for agreed purposes, handled with reasonable care, and returned, deleted or retained under applicable agreements and law.

5. Account security

Use strong passwords, MFA where available, restricted permissions, secure credential sharing and regular access reviews. Remove unneeded access promptly. Do not share passwords through public channels.

6. Storage, providers and retention

Information may be held in authorized hosting, cloud, email, CRM and project tools. Providers may process it on our behalf. Retain only for legitimate business, contract and legal purposes.

7. Sharing and incidents

Do not disclose confidential information without authorization except for agreed services, security or legal need. Suspected access, loss or disclosure should be investigated promptly. Notify affected people and authorities when applicable, under rules and timelines then in force. No certified or breach-free infrastructure is claimed.

8. Deletion and responsibilities

Delete, anonymize or dispose of data when no longer needed, subject to legal retention. Personnel must preserve confidentiality. Clients must have authority to share personal data and leads; each party handles duties according to its actual role.

9. Indian framework and review

The DPDP Act 2023 and Rules 2025 have phased commencement. Some provisions are in force; many substantive provisions are scheduled 18 months after Gazette publication. We will assess requirements as they take effect and apply other Indian IT laws where relevant. This policy alone does not establish legal compliance. Act commencement notice · Rules 2025.
